Direct client – Vital Records System Support Specialist (Onsite work) 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Jackson, MS 39211 Position Overview Join our team in supporting the Vital Records Division with a focus on technical assistance, training, and modernization of our new Vital Records Database Management System . Be part of impactful data modernization efforts that directly serve state and federal partners. Key Responsibilities Acquire Expertise Gain in-depth knowledge of the Vital Records Database Management System . Frontline Support Respond to incoming calls , emails , and online requests related to the system. Assist hospitals, funeral homes, coroners, hospices, and nursing homes with usage and troubleshooting. Training & Guidance Conduct training sessions for external users and stakeholders. Technical Assistance Provide support to Vital Records staff on system usage, data projects, and interoperability initiatives. Process Optimization Assist in developing and maintaining improved business processes and data sharing between state and federal systems. Required Skills / Experience (Must-Have) Capacity to train and support both internal and external stakeholders on the vital records system Strong interpersonal & communication skills with data management teams Demonstrated ability to contribute to data modernization initiatives
