Position Overview We are seeking a Retention Specialist / Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, goal-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent service while working to retain and grow our existing book of business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves helping people, and is great at follow-up, relationship building, and overcoming objections. Key Responsibilities Proactively contact existing clients regarding policy renewals, lapses, and cancellations Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and empathy Review insurance coverages with clients and identify cross-sell opportunities Follow up with clients to secure payments and ensure policy continuity Work closely with the sales and service team to drive agency retention goals Document client interactions and maintain accurate records in the agency CRM Support other customer service functions as needed, including endorsements and billing inquiries Requirements Licensed in Property & Casualty (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire) Strong communication and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities Positive attitude and a strong sense of urgency Comfortable with technology and phone-based communication Previous insurance or customer service experience preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits Base Salary + Performance Bonuses Paid Training and Licensing (if applicable) Career Growth Opportunities Paid Time Off & Holidays Supportive and positive team environment Leadership and professional development training
