The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Duties Process customer transactions using cash registers and point-of-sale systems with accuracy. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist customers with product inquiries and provide information about promotions and sales. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and drive sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and surrounding displays. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and assist in supervising junior staff when necessary. Utilize basic math skills to perform retail math calculations for transactions and inventory management. Experience Previous experience in a retail or cashier role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Basic math skills are essential for processing transactions accurately. Experience in retail sales or product demonstrations is a plus, as it enhances the ability to engage customers effectively.
