We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, self-disciplined individual to join our Southport sales team. This position has a high potential for promotion to Store Manager in the near future due to our plans for rapid expansion and desire to promote from within. •
Responsibilities and Duties:
•Welcome customers by greeting them, listening and learning their shopping needs. Direct customers by suggesting merchandise. Answer questions on merchandise and assist with selection by building customer(s) confidence and offering suggestions and opinions. Process sale(s) by totaling purchases. Process checks, cash and credit card transactions via the computer. Open and Close store. Resolve any customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions. Interface with corporate accounting and warehouse systems and employees. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. •
Qualifications and Skills:
Prior sales experience a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong basic math skills. Ability to use a Computer. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. with assistance to set up displays Bilingual a plus Commitment to excellence and high standards Ability to manage priorities and workflow Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm Excellent customer service skills Creative, flexible, and innovative team player Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds. Ability to work weekends and holidays. Ability to work 10 hour shifts.
