As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department. If you have a passion for automobiles and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

• Greet customers and assist them with their automotive service needs
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them for the service technicians
• Provide estimates for repairs and services based on customer needs
• Schedule appointments and manage the service department’s calendar
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any additional repairs or services needed
• Process payments and handle cash transactions
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of automotive service and repair processes
• Excellent sales and customer service skills
• Proficient in cash handling procedures
• Familiarity with automotive sales techniques is a plus
• Basic mechanical knowledge to understand customer concerns and accurately relay them to technicians
• Knowledge of oil change procedures and auto body repairs is beneficial
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
