Monday through Friday 8 AM
- 5 PM The right candidate will have: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) One to three months related experience and/or training OR extensive experience in DME or DME billing/insurance processes Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, email and schedule management programs Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages and totals Our Customer Service Representative will: Communicate with customers by phone, mail, email and in person Verify qualification data and insurances, determine charges and coverages for services requested, collect co-pays, obtain insurance authorizations using data collected from PAP Compliance data management systems and Medical documentation, and insert data into information system.
Adjust complaints concerning billing or services rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated persons/departments for investigation/correction. Accurately document in customer records; upload documents to Electronic Medical Record Educate and train new Held Sales staff. Educate referral sources on required documentation for coverage of ordered equipment and services. Collect and report patient compliance data Communicate with billing department to properly reconcile billed items/services. Does this sound like the position for you?
