Promptcare is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Intake Representative for our Intake department. As an Intake Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients in the hi-tech respiratory industry. The successful candidate must become proficient in the use of our enterprise system to enable the accurate processing of new patient orders and re-orders for existing patients. PromptCare In-home Respiratory and Infusion Job Type:
Non-Exempt, Full-time position, 40 hours per week,

Concord, NC Requirements:
High school Diploma or equivalent but will consider strong work experience in lieu Experience with patient admissions in a similar referral source-based practice setting and customer service in an inbound/outbound customer service center is strongly preferred Customer service experience in a Home Medical Equipment company is strongly preferred Previous customer service experience in the healthcare services business is also acceptable Previous experience working with respiratory and enteral therapy patients, pediatric respiratory and enteral therapy preferred Must have strong PC skills, especially the MS Office suite Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to: Onboarding new patients by hospital discharge or company transition Processes inbound orders from our referral sources and requests for assistance from our patients through a variety of mediums, including inbound and outbound calls, faxes, and e-mails, referral platforms or patient contact request. Build and maintain professional relationships with core referral sources and the AE ( Account Executives) assigned to the source. Receiving and reviewing clinical chart notes with prescriptions along with other documents to ensure medical necessity per insurance medical policy. Performing insurance and benefit verification for primary, secondary and tertiary benefits. Reviewing insurance benefits, relaying out of pocket responsibility to patients prior to delivery. Follow and comply with PromptCare’s Intake Policy. Comply with productivity metric/standards.
