Customer Service Representative Job Description The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for profitable, proactive aftermarket revenue generation through the Spare Part Sales business. Responsibilities Work with relevant departments, including Master Data, Finance, and Shipping, to support customer orders while keeping key metrics at top of mind. Support spare part sales by providing quotations, communicating with customers regularly in accordance with initiatives and policies, and entering new spare part orders, prioritizing top customer orders. Enter customer orders into the ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics, and process credit card payments as required. Review current cost of parts with the Purchasing department to ensure current sell prices meet gross margin expectations. File correspondence in the Electronic Filing System. Perform any other duties that may reasonably be assigned. Essential Skills Proficiency in customer service, data entry, and customer support. Experience with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics. Strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of CRM systems like C4C. Understanding of invoicing, credit card processing, and gross margin awareness. Ability to read 2D drawings and look up parts. Additional Skills & Qualifications Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills. Proven ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated accountability skills with customers, consistent follow through with customer requests and maintaining time commitments. Comfort with a large product portfolio. Willingness to learn and grow into more responsibility.
