Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring their satisfaction.
Position Summary:
This position will interact with customers, sales team, shipping and customer service at our German facility.
Essential Functions:
- Enter new or update customer sales orders. This includes reviewing lead-time, ship quantities, customer pricing and ship to address.
- Review incoming EDI sales orders, and changes on existing sales orders. This includes reviewing lead-time, ship quantities, customer pricing and ship to address.
- Enter and maintain blanket orders (forecast)
- Update customer accum quantities as required.
- Review customer portals for new orders, change orders and any correspondence from customer.
- Review open sales order reports for accuracy.
- Provide customer with shipping information, tracking number or ASN.
- Review inquiries, complaints, and comments from customer with the Materials Manager.
- Process returns of material and credits for customers.
- Work closely with shipping department to ensure accuracy of shipments to customers.
- Drop ship sales orders and drop ship purchase orders will be entered and sent to our German colleges to arrange direct shipment to customers from our German plant as needed.
- Work with accounting department of any customer billing issues (blocked accounts, credit limits, credits needed etc.
)
Required Education & Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent
- 2+ years customer service experience required.
- Previous experience and demonstrated ability with EDI processes preferred.
- Automotive experience preferred.
- Sales experience preferred.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferred
