Temporary Customer Service Representative July-September Location:
Whiteville, NC Job Summary:
Handles cashiering, collections, and customer service duties including accepting payments (taxes, utilities, licenses, fees), posting transactions, balancing cash drawers, and responding to account inquiries. Provides support in person, by phone, and electronically.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and post payments for taxes, utilities, and other fees Issue receipts and reconcile daily cash transactions Assist customers with bills, applications, and account questions Research account information and update records Support tax listings, exemptions, and utility service setups Prepare deposits and assist with administrative tasks
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to handle money accurately and perform data entry Familiarity with office software and standard procedures Ability to handle stressful or challenging customer interactions professionally
Physical Requirements:
Light lifting (up to 20 lbs), standing, and computer use required
