Job Description The Allstate UNCC Student Development Program is a unique opportunity available exclusively to University of North Carolina at Charlotte students through our campus partnership. Designed for rising juniors, this part-time role offers hands-on experience with Allstate’s National Catastrophe Team while helping students build professional networks and transferable skills. Participants will work up to 20 hours per week on campus, with occasional travel to our Charlotte Railyard office. The Allstate UNCC Student Development Program provides University of North Carolina at Charlotte students the ability to develop a professional network and transferable skills. This position is designed to enhance students’ academic and professional careers through experiential learning and networking with leaders and executives across our company. The program is exclusively available to incoming Junior year students who are actively enrolled in courses. In this position, you will support Allstate’s National Catastrophe Team (NCT), assisting our internal and external customers and business partners under general supervision to help our customers who have sustained damages from a catastrophic event.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigates and resolves requests and/or inquiries of basic complexity Maintains and reports daily work condition based on business unit needs Reports system and/or policy issues Conducts and supports system and application testing based on business unit needs May receive and respond to written and verbal communication from internal and external business partners

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED Actively enrolled as a Junior or rising Junior (completing Sophomore status by December 2025) When and where will I work? Your schedule will accommodate 20 hours per week, allowing flexibility to balance with your coursework Students will be able to work conveniently at our office situated on UNCC’s campus, with occasional travel to our Charlotte Railyard location.
