As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated and proactive Customer Service Lead to serve as the bridge between our customers, production team, and leadership.
Position Overview:
The Customer Service Lead is responsible for overseeing daily customer interactions, ensuring satisfaction throughout the order process, and supporting internal coordination across departments. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys problem-solving and supporting both customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for key customer accounts and inquiries. Manage the flow of incoming orders, quotes, and service requests. Work closely with the estimating and production teams to track job progress and communicate updates to customers. Resolve customer issues with professionalism, urgency, and a solutions-first mindset. Monitor timelines, delivery schedules, and customer satisfaction metrics. Develop and implement systems to streamline communication, improve service quality, and ensure accountability. Train and support customer service team members as needed.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a customer service or account management role, preferably in manufacturing or fabrication. Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal. Ability to read and understand work orders, drawings, and production schedules is a plus. Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational abilities. Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and CRM/order entry systems. Proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
