Position Summary:
The Account Services Representative responds efficiently and accurately to callers, explaining possible solutions, and ensuring that customers feel supported and valued. The hours for this position are 12:30pm until 9:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Essential Function and Responsibilities:
Answers inbound calls to assist and resolve customers’ questions Identifies resolutions for customers’ issues and concerns Submits appropriate paperwork to process resolutions Ensures all pending issues are resolved in a timely manner Remains updated on company changes to effectively assist distributors Utilizing software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately Provide follow-up phone calls to distributors, when needed Complies with company policies and procedures Addresses employee or customer concerns and/or elevates to the Management team Assists employees Acts as an ambassador and champion of the company culture, ethics, and values Complies with company policies and procedures. Performs other duties as needed. Performs any other functions and duties assigned and necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of Market America.
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent One (1) to three (3) years of experience in call center, customer services, or general office duties Demonstrated experience in learning new processes and working in a high-volume area Demonstrated experience in working with various levels of employees with different educational backgrounds, work style habits and employment histories
Computer/Communication Skills:
Proficient use of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook, required Ability to get along and work with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, flexible Prioritizes and models good communication skills; follows up, timely responses, proactive and positive in approach Moderate levels in reading comprehension, writing, and speaking in English; active listening; and attention to detail Service oriented, but assertive/persuasive
Travel:
Annual conference participation and related travel
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Normal office environment with little exposure to dust and weather conditions prevalent at the time (i.e., cold hot/humid) Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets Regularly required to talk, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach with hands and arms, stoop kneel and crouch Raise and lower an object from one level to another, less than twenty (20) pounds. Visual acuity must be a minimum or 20/40 (corrected) and normal hand/eye coordination Normal or corrected hearing Must be able to perform in an office environment where ninety (90) percent of work is performed sitting.
