Cashier/Customer Service Rush NC Distributors Greensboro, NC 27409 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Customer Service Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience while efficiently handling transactions. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service and accurately checking out customers. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services. Process transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring a balanced cash drawer. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and promote special offers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area. Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members. Experience Previous experience in retail sales. Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers. Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is advantageous. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone when necessary.
