In this role, you will be the face of our grocery store, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and upsell products will contribute to a positive shopping experience and drive sales. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using the POS system. Upsell products by effectively communicating promotions and special offers. Maintain a well-stocked and organized checkout area, ensuring all items are displayed attractively. Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels as needed. Provide support in resolving customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the store. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions. Strong communication skills to engage with customers effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
