In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and create a welcoming environment will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Upsell products by demonstrating features and benefits during product demos to enhance customer experience. Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance. Keep the checkout area clean and organized to provide a pleasant shopping experience. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately. Experience in cash handling is a plus, as well as familiarity with point-of-sale systems. A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting products to enhance sales performance is highly valued.
