Job Description Oppenheimer & Co. Inc.’s Private Client Division is currently seeking a Client Service Associate for their Greensboro branch office. The primary responsibilities are to support the Financial Advisor in sales, marketing and day-to-day operations of a growing wealth management practice. This involves servicing clients, scheduling meetings, managing databases and calendars, preparing presentations and general organizational support. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset in order to anticipate business needs, and will assume ad hoc responsibility for project-oriented tasks. This role will handle details of a highly confidential and critical nature and collect and prepare information for use in discussions/meetings.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support, which includes but not limited to the creation, maintenance and editing of documents, spreadsheets, files, and presentations Become proficient in account documentation, data entry to open/close/ modify accounts, and handle the movement of securities and funds Prioritize daily work, track progress of projects and deadlines, answer phones, take messages and schedule appointments Demonstrate initiative and desire to increase knowledge of rules, regulations and concepts Database and calendar management for the Financial Advisor and the Team’s calendar, Comfortable with Client interaction and service Perform special projects as assigned
Skills/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required Strong organizational and people skills 2+ years working in financial services, accounting firm, law firm or related industry Possess a high degree of proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and able to quickly learn internal computer programs. Able to interface and articulate well with all levels of employees and clients in a highly professional and friendly manner Willing to obtain
