This position is responsible for managing sales orders and utilizing order entry systems to process customer requests accurately and promptly. The major end result of this role is to enhance the customer experience by providing timely updates and resolving any issues that may arise during the order process. Guiding customers through the many options and complexities Verellen offers. Additionally, the Customer Specialist will collaborate with various departments to ensure that customer needs are met and that products are delivered on time. This role contributes to the overall success of the company by fostering strong customer relationships and supporting sales growth. Essential Functions Process and manage sales orders using order entry systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on order status and address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to professionally communicate with internal and external partners Collaborate with production and logistics teams to coordinate timely delivery of products. Liaison between shipping, sales, accounting, and quality assurance departments.
  • Maintain confidential and trust-based relationships within the organization while elevating issues and concerns appropriately. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions to ensure a seamless experience. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing customer service protocols. Competencies

Preferred Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent Experience with CRM software and inventory management systems. Excel Knowledge of Customer Service or related field. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
