In this key role, you’ll serve as the vital link between our customers and service technicians — helping ensure high-quality repairs, timely maintenance, and clear communication every step of the way. In addition to client service, you’ll play a hands-on role in the reconditioning of pre-owned vehicles, making them showroom-ready for our sales team. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service needs. Document customer concerns and vehicle issues accurately for technicians. Provide detailed explanations of services required, including oil changes, tire services, and other vehicle maintenance. Prepare estimates for repairs and services, ensuring clarity in pricing and timelines. Manage cash handling processes, including processing payments and maintaining accurate transaction records. Follow up with customers regarding service completion and satisfaction. Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all customer information is handled confidentially. Collaborate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of services and repairs. Stay updated on automotive diagnostics, diesel engine repair, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations. Requirements Previous experience in automotive sales or as a Service Writer is preferred. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices, including oil change procedures and tire services. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Basic understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair processes is a plus. Sales experience in an automotive environment is highly desirable. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documenting customer interactions. A passion for the automotive industry and commitment to providing exceptional service.
