In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for handling transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Responsibilities Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately using POS systems. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist customers with product inquiries and provide knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their shopping experience. Demonstrate products through engaging product demos to encourage sales. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed. Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory management and stock replenishment. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to foster a positive work environment. Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, escalating issues when necessary. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems is highly desirable. Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with supervising or leading team members is a plus.
