Job Description

The

  • Logistics Customer Service
  • will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints, generally providing a higher level of customer support on a specific product or service. Oversee outbound process.
  • Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interacts with Logistic and Planning to ensure customer service requirements
  • Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on an assigned product or service
  • Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns. Ensure order fulfillment
  • Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments
  • Uses knowledge of a specific product, service, or other assigned area of expertise to answer inquiries or to forward to the appropriate staff
  • Maintain and monitor logistics to ensure timely delivery
  • Act as primary point of contact for all logistics-related customer service inquires
  • Report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Monitor shipping schedule
  • Monitor finish product stock level.
  • Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.

Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.

Knowledge of, or ability to learn, product, service, or area of customer service specialization.

  • Education and Experience:
  • Associates degree, High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • At least two years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Some experience with the product or service to which the Logistics Customer Service will be assigned preferred.
  • Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Physical ability to work in an office and manufacturing setting; to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Physical ability to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Fast-paced environment.
