Customer Service Associate Bean Brothers Hardware & Supply LLC 969 Reepsville Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy interacting with people. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner. Provide information about products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience. Process transactions accurately using the cash register and handle cash, credit, or debit payments. Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor by ensuring products are displayed correctly. Assist in product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Handle customer complaints or concerns effectively, ensuring timely resolution. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management. Skills Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales reporting. Experience operating a cash register and processing payments efficiently. Knowledge of stock management practices to maintain an organized sales floor. Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required. Ability to sell products through effective communication and customer engagement techniques. Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer groups.
