Guest Service Representative – Hotel Holiday Inn Express & Suites 279 Kadire Drive, Marion, NC 28752 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and personable Guest Service Agent to join our team. The hours your availability will require for this position will be 8am-4pm or 4pm-12am. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience from check-in to check-out. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations in a fast-paced hotel environment. We operate 24/7, holidays and weekends are required. Your attendance will be required during times of inclement weather. The perfect candidate for this position will demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills and discernment when making decisions. We are a busy fast paced environment where standing or moving for long periods of time will be required. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in and check-out process. Manage reservations and handle guest inquiries through phone systems and in-person interactions. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available to guests. Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of guest relations. Experience Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred, particularly in front desk operations or guest services. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Proficiency in phone etiquette and the ability to manage multiple phone lines effectively. Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage. Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
