About the role:
We are seeking a Customer Support Technician to lead our customer support efforts and ensure the highest level of technical assistance. This customer-facing role is essential to maintaining Fireye’s reputation for excellence by providing timely, knowledgeable, and solution-focused support for our burner and boiler control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first line of support for customer inquiries via phone, email, Teams, and messaging. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to burner controls, flame scanners, and boiler systems. Maintain accurate service records using internal reporting systems. Travel to customer sites (approximately 25-30% annually) to support installations, training, and issue resolution. Stay current on product updates and new technologies. Collaborate with sales, marketing, product management, and engineering teams to address customer needs and resolve technical issues. Lead product demonstrations and customer training sessions. Manage technical tasks and provide leadership on small projects or support teams as needed.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Strong understanding of electrical/wiring diagrams and combustion control systems. Familiarity with burner control sequences, flame scanners, and multi-meter diagnostics. Experience with SCADA systems, including Modbus RTU/TCP and BACnet TCP/IP protocols. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. Strong leadership capabilities and a proactive mindset. P referred

Hands-on troubleshooting and startup experience with: Fireye Nexus, E110, MicroM, and BurnerLogix systems Honeywell RM7800, SOLA, ControLinks, Delphi, and Slate systems Siemens
