Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative David Long Electrical Matthews, NC 28105 Company Overview David Long Electrical is a dedicated electrical contractor specializing in high-quality electrical installations and maintenance services. Summary We are looking for a dedicated dispatcher that can work well under pressure and that is organized. The office position will consist of taking calls and adding as many details as possible and providing great customer service to the individual on the line. This position will entail some light filing and any other work that is given by office staff. This person will keep up with new job requests coming in the email and other information needed from companies that we work with. This person will be responsible for getting information over to David for quoting jobs and also make quote folders and add to the schedule. This person will oversee printing out jobs from the following day and getting over to accounting for payroll and job cost. This position will entail the following; Scheduling jobs for technicians, taking calls once the technician completes and ensure that we have all the information needed before the next call is provided. Checking over the work that was previously completed on the last job and scheduling returns or repairs for a later date. We need someone that will be in the know of what is going on at all times, and that is organized.

We need someone that can take over the schedule, be aggressive and attentive at all times of the technicians needs. Route the technicians where they need to be and check in with them periodically to see how progress is going out in the field. For this position, we need someone that is aware of the Mecklenburg and surrounding areas for mapping the jobs. We need someone with great communication skills and that is not scared to take charge and get things done. We need someone that will look into ordering parts if they are obtainable locally and get the cost and approval before ordering.

MUST HAVE 1 YEAR OF SERVICE TITAN EXPERIENCE!

!! Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and courtesy. Assist customers with service requests, scheduling appointments, and resolving issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our database. Collaborate with the technical team to ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction. Provide product information and support to help customers make informed decisions. Follow up with customers to ensure their needs are met and gather feedback on services provided. Requirements Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a related industry. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Familiarity with basic computer applications and customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus.
