Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Customer Care Representative is the primary non-pharmacy (non-drug specific) contact for patient issues. The PCC is the primary consultation scheduler and will maintain patient files. In addition, they will be required to successfully perform cashiering, inventory and stock maintenance and recording, and customer service. Organizational ability, general accounting proficiency, and strong interpersonal skills are required.

Job Activities and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities listed below are subject to change. Assembling consult forms and labs prior to consultations Scheduling patient consults Organizing and maintaining filing system Handle patient insurance issues Patient follow-up Performing payment transactions Receiving and processing all cash and credit card payments from customers Constant education on nutritional supplements, their benefits and interactions Maintaining a clean and organized check stand Providing customer assistance throughout the store Responsible for opening & closing the store as assignment by store manager Processing Us Mail and UPS Shipments when needed Calling patients when prescriptions/orders are ready for pick up Helping answer phone calls Mailing Insurance claim forms weekly Daily Duties File charts Match incoming labs with charts Call patients Set up consults Give to pharmacist/necessary person Assemble next day’s files for consultations Patient follow-up Assist in helping with patient phone calls/transactions/questions/etc. Weekly Duties New prescription Follow-up Weekly run a three week prior report of all new prescriptions Coordinate with pharmacy staff to clarify objective of each call Call patient and make applicable notes Forward questions outside of PCC’s scope to appropriate pharmacy staff Track success of calls via spreadsheet tracking: Patient satisfaction level Patient comments Number of calls Number of patients spoken to Refills generated

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Six months in a customer service or cashier position preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with processing credit card transactions Familiarity with windows and Office programs Revelation Pharma is an equal opportunity employer.
