Duties Provide support and advocacy for clients in behavioral health settings, ensuring their needs are met. Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized care plans. Facilitate access to resources such as addiction counseling, crisis intervention services, and behavior management programs. Assist clients in navigating healthcare systems and accessing necessary services. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress, and outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Provide conflict management support during challenging situations, promoting positive resolutions. Engage in ongoing training related to first aid, behavioral health practices, and crisis intervention techniques. Qualifications A background in social work or a related field is preferred. Certification in behavioral health or related areas is highly desirable. Experience in addiction counseling or crisis intervention is a plus. Strong skills in behavior management and conflict resolution. Knowledge of childcare practices may be beneficial for working with younger clients. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
