Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a background in automotive service, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs with professionalism and attention to detail. Provide accurate estimates for service and repairs, clearly explaining recommended work and pricing. Serve as the primary liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring clear communication of work to be performed. Monitor service progress and keep customers updated on the status of their vehicles. Handle customer inquiries and concerns with a solutions-oriented approach. Assist with scheduling service appointments to maintain an efficient workflow. Ensure proper documentation of repair orders and maintain accurate customer records. Promote additional services and preventative maintenance based on manufacturer recommendations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry preferred. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to provide top-tier customer service in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and service scheduling software. Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with service technicians and other departments.
