Service Writer Superior Automotive 105 Sumter Avenue, Carolina Beach, NC 28428 Small independent automotive repair shop hiring for entry level or above service writer. Job description includes- Service writing Greet and assist guests in a timely, efficient and friendly manner. Obtains customer and vehicle information. Clearly reports all vehicle symptoms to the technician as described by the customer Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services. Additional job duties include answer phones, problem solving, scheduling appointments, ordering parts. Automotive knowledge helpful. Will train for the computer software. Due to the type of business, the work area does have tendencies to be unclean. Qualifications Strong automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge Experience in vehicle maintenance and automotive repair Proficient in service writing and auto estimating Excellent customer service and sales skills Familiarity with appointment scheduling and computer skills Preferred experience and auto service management background Summary As a Service Writer, you will be integral to our automotive service team, acting as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair. Your core skills in customer service, automotive diagnostics, and service writing will ensure accurate communication of service needs and estimates.
