Cashier/Customer Service/Sales Associate Fuel Time Express Roxboro, NC 27573 Job Summary We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team in a dynamic, fast-paced convenience store setting. In this role, you’ll provide outstanding service to customers, handle transactions accurately, and help keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked. Key Responsibilities Operate the cash register efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all transactions. Responsible for balancing the register at the end of each shift. Deliver exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering product guidance, and creating a welcoming shopping environment. Promote sales by highlighting special promotions, new products, and in-store deals. Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain neat, organized product displays. Conduct in-store product demonstrations to engage customers and drive interest in featured items. Follow all cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and accountability. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the checkout area and general store space. Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in a retail, grocery, or convenience store setting is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling is an advantage. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact effectively with customers and coworkers. Experience in sales or product demonstrations is a bonus, showcasing your ability to engage and influence customer behavior.
