Customer Care Advocate- GroupLife Products Timeline Anticipated Class Start Date:

11/18/2024 Inperson training, transition to virtual after nesting (1/16).

Training Hours:

8:30-5pm EST Monday-Friday, 30-minute lunch

1/2/2025 1/15/2025

Requirements:

Ability to report to workin person during training Mon-Thurs and train virtually on Fridays.

This will take place out of the Cary, NC office. Once nesting iscomplete associate will transition to work from home. Ability towork from home which includes high speed internet (500-650 kbps)and a quiet place to work that is secure. (Hotspots and use of Wifiare not allowed high internet speed is required) Able to use videoduring interview, coaching, and virtual training. An ability towork during the hours of operation of Monday-Friday 8:00am 11:00pmEST must be flexible in regard to shifts worked, which may changebased on business needs. No time off planned during training untilend of nesting. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent isrequired. 1-3 years of experience in the field or in customerservice role is preferred. Work under immediate supervisionreporting to an immediate supervisor. Schedules after training willbe determined using ranking system based on performance intraining. Temps will bid on available schedules that verythroughout all hours of operation, 8:00am 11:00pm EST. Ranking willbe based on Progress Check scores and Behavior ratings. Thesebehavior ratings will be provided to the trainee once a week so youcan gauge your performance.

Equipment Coordination:

For this role you will beissued equipment which consists of a laptop, 2 monitors, keyboard,mouse and docking station. You are required to return the equipmentto within a week of your assignment ending. Responsibilities /

Respond to customer requests via telephone, providingexcellent service to s customers who have or are looking to obtaina Life insurance policy through their employer. Customers can workwith various companies and associates must rely on instructions andpre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Processes transactions, prepares correspondence, and fulfillscustomer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. Below are somecommon topics associates can expect to discuss with our customers:

Enrolling or changing their life insurance amount Confirm or changebeneficiary Policy Provisions (how policy works)

IE:

will it reducewith age, what policy covers, exclusions etc How to continuecoverage when retired/leave employer Status of customer requestsBilling inquiries
