Customer Service Driver/Runner 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars Raleigh, NC 27610 Dillon Supply Company is the Southeast’s leading steel and construction supply service provider for both industrial and contractor B2B customers. Dillon has been head quartered in the triangle for over 100 years and we are looking for dedicated new team members to build our legacy for the next 100. Purpose of Role – Customer deliveries, jobsite delivery, jobsite marketing promotions, running product out to specific customers, and inner branch transfer deliveries. Role will make multiple deliveries in the Raleigh Durham market daily, engaging with our customer partners and building our brand.
Requirements:
Excellent time management skills and ability to adhere to a fluid daily schedule. Great verbal communication skills, great customer service skills, great driving skills, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Experience Required:
Some Experience in high paced retail or warehousing delivery environment. Experience with managing delivery routes, driving in the Raleigh area or other local area to the Triangle not required but preferred. Primary Duties – Showing urgency in delivering product to customers based on sales demand. Showing professionalism as you will be a sales resource to help build the Dillon Brand. Able to adjust schedule quickly, pick up supplies, and deliver while taking calls for updated delivery needs. From time to time you will be asked to drive to other Dillon locations to pick up or deliver product. Employee will from time to time delivery Dillon Steel products and help customers unload. Assist Outside sales team via delivery, pickup, and supporting other sales related requests. Promoting the Dillon Supply Brand of superior customer service via : always presenting yourself in a professional manner, positive customer interactions that support Dillon’s mission statement. Customer delivery if needed and assigned by fellow Outside Sales representatives or Branch manager approved by Branch manager. Customer pick up of return goods if authorized by branch manager.
