Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls professionally, accurately, timely, and courteously Determine the nature of calls and log information in the Communication Log Access member information using proprietary systems to assist callers Forward inquiries requiring further research to the appropriate department Transfer calls to specialized queues for complex issues (e.g., claims, authorizations) Utilize available resources to provide timely responses Manage time effectively to ensure calls are answered promptly, and follow-ups are completed in a timely manner Meet or exceed minimum key job accountabilities for the Customer Service Representative role Document all calls appropriately Attend weekly staff meetings to discuss issues and promote teamwork Respond to requests from internal and external customers as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of one year of customer service experience; inbound call center experience preferred Basic computer skills Strong verbal communication skills
Compensation:
Full-time regular employees: Pay $15/hour
Remote Work:
Candidates selected for this position will receive remote training and must have a designated workspace at home with company-provided technology.
