Cashier/Customer Service WestPark InOut LLC North Wilkesboro, NC 28659 Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our grocery store, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and your attention to detail will ensure a positive shopping experience for all patrons. Job is available at 2 locations 1) North Wilkesboro 2) US-21, Glade valley, Roaring Gap. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately. Sell products by providing information and demonstrating features. Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure an organized shopping environment. Conduct product demos to engage customers and promote sales. Supervise junior staff members as needed, ensuring adherence to store policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area and throughout the store. Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Requirements Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred, but not mandatory. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage customers effectively. Candidate should be able to run in other departments such as Restaurants Kitchen. Experience with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive attitude towards supervising team members and assisting in training when necessary.
