The primary function of the Body Shop Service Advisor is to be a liaison between the technicians and customers, estimate and get agreed figures from the insurance company and customers, close all RO’s and file and administer warranty claims. Markets and solicits body shop sales. Follows up on supplemental repairs. Updates customers on repair statuses and money problems. Responsibilities:
Prepares repair estimates for customers and insurance carriers. Sells estimate to both insurance adjuster and customer. Invoice customers pay tickets and prepare warranty repairs. Obtains agreed figures. Closes all Repair Orders Updates customers on any turned down items, customer pay items or betterment issues. Assists in coordinating sublet repairs with outside vendors. Assists in scheduling parts. Follows up on supplemental sales with all parties. Maintains safe and secure environment by following safety and security standards and procedures, complying with codes. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Requires good interpersonal, customer service and people skills. Must be self-motivated. Highly detailed oriented. Ability to function in a fast-paced customer-focused environment. Strong written/verbal communication skills. Knowledge of truck specifications.
