Vishay.com. Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? The Inductors Division of Vishay is currently seeking applicants for a full-time Customer Service Representative. Responsible for interfacing with customers, design engineering, and manufacturing to ensure that the customers’ needs are met while providing customer service to existing and new customers and selling products through the sales channels that have been developed.

What you will be doing:

Handles inbound sales calls and e-mails to convert into sales
Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained
Initiates corrective actions, process RMAs, change orders, and request credits from accounting as needed
Builds and maintains customer base by providing courteous, honest, timely service to new and existing customers
Prepares reports of business transactions to use in the follow up process.
Develops and maintains sales forecasts by customer and part number
Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries What you will bring along: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and/or 2+ years related sales or customer service experience in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with ERP systems highly beneficial
Excellent skills in MS Office products
Ability to deal with confidential information
