Assists the pharmacist, under direct supervisions, in the practice of pharmacy. Assist the pharmacist in the performance of other Pharmacy Department duties such as: ⦁ Accept customer and prescription information required to process new and refill prescriptions, including refill authorization from doctor offices. ⦁ Retrieve medication from inventory. ⦁ Create prescription labels and put them on prescription containers. ⦁ Place medication into prescription containers. ⦁ Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and input customer and prescription data into the computer. ⦁ Assist with maintaining the Pharmacy department by keeping it clean and in order. ⦁ Assist in inventory management processes including order review, inventory returns, restocking shelves, and physical inventory preparation. ⦁ Models and delivers an efficient and delightful customer experience. ⦁ Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience. ⦁ Perform other tasks and duties as assigned. This position will be tasked with ordering/stocking and maintaining the OTC and gift sections of our store. Taking care of our Patients at Sugar River Pharmacy is not a 9-5 job. Our Pharmacy Cashiers and Technicians come into this role knowing that they will be working weekdays, Saturdays, evening shifts, and some holidays. Because we work as a team, we all work together to be reasonably flexible to make all of our schedules work. Requisite Skills and Abilities High School diploma or equivalent Must be at least 16 years of age The ability to meet any State of New Hampshire requirements for Pharmacy Technicians. Computer skills preferred salary commensurate with experience and certifications The ability to work under immediate supervision and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Ability to work as a member of the team. Skilled at performing detailed work. ⦁ Ability to meet the following physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
