Customer Experience Associate Chasin Smoke – Premium Smoke Shop Paulsboro, NJ 08066

Daily Responsibilities:

Customer Service Greet every customer with a positive, respectful attitude Assist customers in selecting products and answering questions Check IDs to ensure all purchases are 21+ compliant Educate customers on product types and usage (vapes, hemp, THCa, etc.) Point of Sale (POS) & Cash Handling Operate the register and process cash/card/mobile payments accurately Ensure cash drawer is balanced at start and end of shift Handle returns or exchanges according to store policy Sales & Product Knowledge Stay updated on new inventory and in-store promotions Recommend products based on customer needs Promote bundle deals and loyalty incentives Store Upkeep & General Cleaning Keep the store clean, organized, and presentable at all times Wipe down glass display cases, counters, and product shelves daily Sweep and mop floors, including bathroom and front area Restock and clean bathrooms (toilet, sink, mirrors, and trash) Take out trash and recyclables as needed Notify management of any maintenance issues Security & Compliance Adhere to all state laws regarding sale of tobacco, hemp, and related products Watch for and report suspicious behavior or theft Ensure all safety protocols and ID checks are followed ⸻

Preferred Skills:

Prior retail, cashier, or smoke shop experience preferred Friendly, responsible, and customer-focused Strong attention to detail Comfortable with light cleaning and daily maintenance Available on weekends and evenings Summary As a Store Associate/Cashier, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and facilitating smooth retail operations.
