General Description:
- Scheduling appointments for new and existing NF patients
- Screening potential new patients who are involved in motor accidents or slip and fall accidents
- Verifying medical claim status with automobile carriers Answer and direct incoming telephone calls Obtaining documentation such as police report, dec sheet, insurance correspondence, prior records Submit authorization requests for medical treatment to no-fault insurance carriers.
Submit pre-service appeals for denied medical treatment to no-fault insurance carriers. Verifying health insurance coverage and benefits if applicable Attorney correspondence Reviewing accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness Other duties as assigned
Work Experience/Requirements:
Knowledge of no-fault laws and regulations preferred but not required. Insurance knowledge. Customer Service. Detail oriented Ability to multi-task.
