Cashier/Stocker/Customer Service 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars Butler, NJ 07405 Job Description Provide support as a member of the Green Life Market team by helping put away stock deliveries in a neat and organized fashion, help keep the store looking good, back-stocking and front-facing items on shelves, assisting customers during the checkout process, performing all cash register functions, bagging groceries, and educating customers about our membership program. In addition, work to ensure that each customer had a pleasurable experience and found what they were looking for. Provide courteous, friendly and positive customer service to each customer. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service and address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner. Assist customers efficiently and in a timely manner to control customer flow and back up lines to reduce waiting time for customers. Follow proper procedures for customer check out, returns, weighing items, and use of PLUs and UPCs. Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized working and shopping environment by cleaning shopping baskets, dusting register areas, sweeping floors, and completing daily cleaning and stocking procedures. Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner. Follow established procedures to resolve errors in retail pricing or signage. Answer department telephone calls and pages quickly and with excellent phone etiquette.
