Engineering | Fixed Base Operation Serves as first point of contact for customers at The Ohio State University (OSU) Airport and prepares the full service fixed based operation (FBO) for opening and/or closing; greets customers over the phone or in person and answer questions regarding OSU aviation program, FBO services, extracurricular and community events hosted at airport, etc.; utilizes two-way radio to dispatch requests from customers to line service staff for services; refers customer service issues to a higher authority for further resolution or action; performs manual tasks related to retail services; provides clerical assistance with operations car rental services; maintains accurate and complete records of services and phone logs; registers transient aircraft and pilots upon arrival and update electronic schedule board; communicates with private and corporate flight crews to ensure the customer demands are met accurately and on time; oversees scheduling, coordinating, and billing of all Knowlton Flight Center meeting rooms; acts as a lead worker over student employees and assists with assigning and providing instructions on various tasks; performs other administrative tasks as assigned.

Works weekends, evenings, and holidays; hours and days off will vary. The Ohio State University airport and FBO.

1 year of experience in customer service or communications, demonstrated experience using computers, file management, and document preparation and distribution. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
