Remote Benefit Customer Service Representative (Local CandidatesOnly- Must be within 2 hours from Buffalo, NY) positions availablein your area! Please apply now! Join our team as a Benefit CustomerService Representative and play a key role in helping membersnavigate their healthcare and pension plans with confidence. What You’ll Do:
Guidemembers through benefits enrollment and assist with updates tohealth and/or pension plans. Deliver personalized support viaphone, email, and webchat — we prioritize quality over speed. Starton a single client account, and over time, be cross-trained tosupport multiple clients. Use empathy, professionalism, and clearcommunication to handle a variety of member concerns, includingthose that may be sensitive or complex. Interpret plan documentsand explain them in simple, easy-to-understand language. Handleconfidential information responsibly in line with HIPAA and dataprivacy standards.
Pay :
$16.50 per hour
Schedule & Flexibility:
Noweekend shifts — ever! Work Monday through Friday only.
During peakseason:
Full-time (40 hours/week) with potential overtime.
Duringoff-peak:
Hours may vary between 32-40/week, based on client needs.
Must be flexible to work shifts between 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM , withoccasional extended hours up to 10:00 or 11:00 PM for shortperiods.
Important Note:
• This is a remote position ; however, youmust be local and within 2 hours of Buffalo, NY . You’ll need tovisit the office on Day 1 to pick up equipment , and occasionallyattend in-person meetings or special projects .
What We’re LookingFor:
High school diploma or GED required. Customer service or callcenter experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train theright person! Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt your service approach to meet a variety ofpersonalities and communication styles. Tech-savvy with basiccomputer proficiency. Bilingual Candidates Encouraged to
