Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Client Acquisition Specialist to join our home care agency team. This role is responsible for driving the growth of the agency by identifying, engaging, and converting potential clients (patients and families in need of home care services), as well as recruiting qualified home health aides (HHAs) to support our expanding client base. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the home care industry, excellent communication and networking skills, and a passion for helping people.
Key Responsibilities:
Client (Patient)
Acquisition:
Identify and reach out to potential referral sources including hospitals, clinics, discharge planners, social workers, and community organizations. Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and facilities to generate referrals. Recruitment of patients for start of care and/or agency switches Conduct intake forms and consultations with prospective clients to determine care needs. Scheduling of NYIA calls and MLTC assessment calls Follow up with inquiries and leads to ensure a seamless onboarding process. Develop marketing insights and event opportunities
Home Health Aide Recruitment:
Source and recruit qualified home health aides or personal care aides (HHAs/PCAs) through various channels (online job boards, schools, referrals, job fairs). Screen, interview, and pre-qualify candidates to ensure they meet agency standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with HR to facilitate onboarding, training, and credentialing. Maintain a pipeline of qualified caregivers to match with client needs in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Marketing or sales expirience as well as recruitment is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Proven experience in client acquisition, sales, recruitment, or healthcare outreach (home care experience a plus). Familiarity with home care services, Medicaid/Medicare, and insurance providers. Excellent interpersonal, networking, and presentation skills. Bilingual Spanish and English is a must. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation would be good but not necessary.
