Overview:

Adecco is hiring a Service Advisor to join our client’s team at their Newark branch. This role supports both the Service Manager and Branch Manager by overseeing vehicle intake, repair orders, inventory, and customer service operations. Ideal candidates have shop experience and a passion for delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage preventive maintenance scheduling and ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction
Assist with training and evaluating shop personnel
Handle vehicle intake, work orders, and cost estimates
Communicate effectively with technicians and customers regarding repairs and timelines
Order and restock parts, manage inventory, and reconcile cash receipts
Assign schedules and support overall shop coordination
Utilize shop management software (CDK & Igloo)
Participate inpany meetings and cross-departmental coordination
Other duties as assigned by Branch Manager

Working Conditions:

Work performed in shop, office, and yard environments
Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of automotive or truck shop experience
Valid Driver’s License
Strongmunication and interpersonal skills
Computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
Dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused
Team player with solid technical and job knowledge

Pay Details:

$26.00 per hour
