Contact Center Representative Get to know the business General Insurance is a leading provider of insurance products and services for commercial and personal insurance customers. It includes one of the world’s most far-reaching property casualty networks. General Insurance offers a broad range of products to customers through a diversified, multichannel distribution network. Corporate operations provide a wide range of services to the organization such as finance, internal audit, communications, security and human resources. About the role What you need to know:
- Answers incoming calls and responds to customers’ emails
- Handles customer inquiries both telephonically and by email; follows up customer calls where necessary
- Informs clients by explaining procedures; answering questions; providing information
- Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines; recommends improved procedures
- Researches, identifies, and resolves customer queries/complaints using applicable software; escalates priority issues
- Routes calls to appropriate resources
- Documents all call information according to standard operating procedures; completes call logs and reports
- Other duties as assigned What we’re looking for:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree is a plus
- 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in the insurance/ financial sector would be considered as an asset
- Proficient in relevant computer applications
- Advanced verbal and written communication & listening skills
- Ability to analyze problems and proceed with problem solving
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
