Assistant Service Writer Atlantic Auto Group (Millennium Chevrolet) Hempstead, NY 11550 Job Description We seek a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Service Writer to join our growing service department. If you’re passionate about cars and enjoy helping people, this is an excellent opportunity to start or grow your career in the automotive industry. As an Assistant Service Writer, you will support our Service Advisors by ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience for our customers. You’ll be responsible for greeting customers, assisting with intake, communicating service updates, and helping coordinate workflow between technicians and advisors.

Job Responsibilities:

Greet customers promptly and professionally in person and on the phone Assist in writing service repair orders and gathering vehicle information Communicate customer concerns clearly to technicians and Service Advisors Provide updates to customers on vehicle status and estimated completion times Ensure repair orders are accurate and complete with customer and vehicle information Help maintain a clean and organized service drive and waiting area Support the service team with scheduling, paperwork, and follow-ups Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service Perform other duties assigned

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in customer service or automotive service (preferred) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficient with computers and dealership management systems (CDK/ADP/Reynolds & Reynolds experience a plus) A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Valid driver’s license with clean driving record If you’re ready to join a team that values professionalism, integrity, and customer service, apply now!
