K-12. TITLE
CUSTOMER SERVICE-ORDER MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE REQUIREMENTS
2 or more years experience in customer service and order management. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. NetSuite a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process customer sales orders received via email, fax, customer portals, and EDI. Enter orders into NetSuite and excel spreadsheets , ensuring correct quantities, pricing, broker and sales rep. Advise production and shipping of special customer delivery requirements. Arrange weekly shipment of orders by obtaining freight quotes from brokers and selecting the most cost-effective carrier. Effectively communicate with internal sales and production regarding order adjustments. Track all pending orders through to shipping and obtain B.O.L. needed for invoicing. Develop a thorough understanding of products to effectively offer substitutions when items are back ordered. Resolve all customer related inquiries and issues with accuracy and efficiency, escalating complex problems to appropriate internal staff. Handle inbound and outbound communication via phone or email in a professional and courteous manner. Set up new customer accounts in NetSuite.
