Butter Beans seeks like minded individuals to support our cafe team. This position of Customer Service Representative reports to the Cafe manager.

Schedule:

• The cafe is open 7 days a week, operating 2 shifts each day.
• Morning shift from 5am-1pm and the afternoon shift is from 12pm-8pm
• Depending on position and service requirements both part time and full time shifts are available

Commute:

• Must be able to commute to Upper East Side OR Battery Park, Manhattan,NY
• Upper East Side Location opens June 30th 2025
• Battery Park City Location opens July 7th 2025

Responsibilities:

• Food preparation
• Customer service and order fulfillment; coffee, panini, smoothie service
• Receipt of goods
• Stocking and cleaning
• Cross trained to work as a cashier

Requirements:

• Previous cafe and customer service experience
• A Food Handlers Card from the New York Department of Health with a strong understanding of food safety procedures is a plus.
• Bilingual is a plus
