• Hybrid role in-office Max pay rate $20/hr Start date: 1/14/2025
• 7/13/2025.

Training will be in-office:

after training only requiredto come into the office once a month, or on an as needed basis (ifelectricity or internet goes out). Training will be about 4 weeks.

Position Requirements:

1-2 Years of customer serviceexperience/phone experience, or equivalent. Will accept customerfacing experience.

Job Description:

Handle intake calls for FMLA claims andleaves or paid family leave. Determine eligibility for FMLA andother leaves during intake call. Promptly review new FMLA andCompany Leave (Bereavement, Jury Duty, Etc.) notices and act uponthem within documented timeline standards. Complete eligibilitydecisions during intake. Gather pertinent data when necessary fromemployee or other supporting systems. Identify and evaluate leavespecifics and make initial case decisions

• approve or deny.

Perform leave follow-ups as required with employee, employer orhealthcare provider. This may include recertification of a serioushealth condition, intermittent claim tracking, confirmation ofactual return-to-work, etc. Perform standard communication (phonecalls, emails, and letters) to appropriate parties throughout theduration of the leave. Consistently updates FML and Leaveapplications to accurately reflect leave status and ensure thatappropriate diary documentation exists. Respond to employee andemployer inquiries regarding the status or availability of FML andCompany leave.
