Syracuse Haulers is a full-line waste-removal company locally owned and operated who is dedicated and designed to build successful partnerships using our superior customer service. We are very proud of our select staff and are looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented individual to join our growing team! As an Operations Customer Service Professional , your primary responsibility will be assisting the Operations Team with incoming service-related inquiries via phone and email. You will also be required to investigate said inquiries and communicate the information back to the customer in a timely manner. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Essential Functions:
Customer service: Answering high-volume phone calls/emails All residential billing aspects (quarterly bills, auto cc payments, late notices, monitoring credit hold customers) Paperwork for other departments as needed Perform other job-related duties to assist the Operations Team as assigned Data entry
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic computer skills that include the ability to send/receive e-mail messages, post information to a database or spreadsheet and perform basic processing, bookkeeping and/or data entry
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously
- Some analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
- Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with customers, vendors and co-workers in a professional and helpful manner, in person, via phone, or in written correspondence
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-term goals
- Ability to work productively in a fast paced, stressful environment
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs
Requirements:
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or GED
